Washington D.C. the city know for its gogo music culture Boowicked began playing keyboards in a gogo band,Moving his way up to the frontline he began rapping and even singing .later to tap into hip hop he started writing and producing his own songs,also producing for other local D.C. artist Boowicked began to get a buzz in the city.In 1995 Boowicked took cities and states even overseas by storm with his Wicked T shirt with him rocking a afro and bandana smoking a fat spliff.Being a top seller design clothing businesses all across the world had the Wicked shirt on their shelves.In 1997 Boowicked teamed up with S&G management Hitting up different local recording studios and traveling to New York to record with Tupac’s engineer Boowicked recorded a song he wrote for his first born Yshay Owens called “Love You For Life”Later on in the early 2000’s Boowicked started performing at different open mics in the city gaining a lot of attention from his unique sound and soon after Boowicked Beatz was a demand in the streets for beats “Everybody wanted a Boowicked Beat!” He went on to record numerous songs with artist in the DMV area and started collaborating with artist from Texas,Atl,South Corolina,New York,New Jersey and Jamaica.Boowicked also have a few solid solo albums under his belt such as Addicted,Paper Chasin,My Life,The Product,and Bad Intentions.He also Brings along his mixtape Hood Affiliates.Recently in 2020 he droped his single “In My Nature” which is a layed back track laced with his trademark Yeeeaaahhh!
